W-Awarded at the 29th Annual Conference of the Association for Natural Language Processing (NLP2023)

 At the 29th Annual Conference of the Association for Natural Language Processing (NLP2023), Ryosuke Yamaki, a master’s course student (M2), and Akira Oyama, an undergraduate student (B4), both from the Emergent Systems Laboratory, received the Award. Mr. Yamaki received the Excellence Award (11 out of 579 entries) for his paper entitled “Language Understanding of Function Words through the Integration of Syntactic Parsing and Image Generation,” and the Hakuhodo DY Holdings Award for his paper entitled “Analysis of Screenplay Data with Large Language Models: Exploration and Evaluation of Insertion Points for Product Placement”. Mr. Oyama received the Young Scientist Award (18 out of 406 entries) for his paper entitled “Exophora of linguistic instructions containing demonstrative based on real-world multimodal information”.
