A column by Prof. Taniguchi was published in the “Modern Language” of the Kyoto Shimbun. This issue, the title is “Critique begins with trust and respect”. Amid a coronavirus crisis, bitter mood covers the world. This is a reflection of what the true “criticism” is. “Critique” is different from slander. Prof. Taniguchi says that criticism is essentially creative, not bad. His words “criticism is always with love” touches my heart. We are very happy if you read it.

 For the next year, Prof. Taniguchi’s column will be published in the “Modern Language” on the front page of the Kyoto Shimbun once every two months. Please look forward to future publications.
